Dr Petros Petrikkos' work is native to the domain of Critical Security Studies. Dr Petrikkos focuses on small states, ontological security, hybrid threats, the EU, and the Middle East. He is an Affiliate Member at the Centre for Eurasian, Russian, and East European Studies (CEREES) at Queen Mary, University of London, a Research Associate at the School of Law, the Diplomatic Academy (DA), and at Digital Transitions & Society (DIGITS) at the University of Nicosia, as well as Publications Editor at the peer-reviewed Cyprus Review academic periodical. His current research interests critically examine affect, anxiety, and temporality in International Relations. Other relevant research focuses on security technologies, influence operations, critical infrastructures, and intelligence within the realm of foreign, security, and defence policies. He has served in various positions as a consultant for tasks and projects related to security, justice, and transparency in the EU, as well as for projects assigned by the government of the Republic of Cyprus in the fields of security and defence. He has also performed duties as a national security and defence evaluator for international organisations.
