Liberalism and Authoritarianism

In the last fifteen years, amidst global economic, health, and political crises such as migration and terrorism, a debate has taken root around a supposed alternative model of governance proposed and promoted worldwide, mainly by authoritarian despots. The goal of all - old and new anti-liberals - has been to dismantle liberalism, the very instrument that has been responsible for crushing medieval autocracy and brought forth democracy. In this short text, a brief report is made on how the anti-liberal regimes try to cloud the judgment of those who are dissatisfied for one reason or another in the West.
