Local elections were held in Turkey on March 31 to elect 30 metropolitan mayors, 1363 district mayors, 1282 provincial councillors and 21001 councillors. The results are as follows:

CHP Party: 17,391,548 votes, 37.77%
AK Party: 16,339,771 votes, 35.49%
YRP Party: 2,851,784 votes, 6.19%
DEM Party: 2,625,588 votes, 5.70%
MHP Party: : 2,297,662 votes, 4.99%
İYİ Party: 1,735,924 votes, 3.77%
Total: 46,044,656, 100.00%
