Information on Elections
General elections were held in Liberia on October 10, 2023 to elect the President, the House of Representatives and half the Senate. On November 14, the second round of presidential elections was held. The results were as follows:

Joseph Boakai UP: 814,481 votes, 50.64%
George Weah CDC: 793,914 votes, 49.36%
About the electoral system
The President is elected using the two-round system, whilst the 73 members of the House of Representatives are elected by first-past-the-post voting in single-member constituencies.
