On December 20, 2023, elections were held in the Democratic Republic of the Congo to elect the President. The provisional results announced by the electoral commission were as follows:

Moïse Katumbi: ENSEMBLE Party, 18.08%
Martin Fayulu: ECiDé party, 5.33%
Other candidates: 1%
About the electoral system
In the electoral process in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the president is elected in a round of elections with multiple votes. The commission's announcement of the provisional results of the presidential election will be validated by the Constitutional Court on January 10. The president can be elected for two terms.
