On 5 February, presidential elections were held in Cyprus. The results are as follows:

Nikos Christodoulides: 127,309 votes, 32.04%
Andreas Mavroyiannis: 117,551 votes, 29.59%
Averof Neophytou: 103,748 votes, 26.11%
Christos Christou: 23,988 votes, 6.04%
Achilleas Dimitriadis: 8,137 votes, 2.05%
Konstantinos Christofidis: 6,326 votes, 1.59%
Giorgos Kolokasidis: 5,287 votes, 1.33%
Alexios Savvidis: 2,395 votes, 0.60%
Charalampos Aristotelous: 866 votes, 0.22%
Tselestina Nte Petro: 575 votes, 0.14%
Andronikos Zervidis: 341 votes, 0.09%

Nikos Christodoulides (elected president): 204.867 votes, 51.97%

About the electoral system
The President of the Republic of Cyprus is elected by a two-round system. If no candidate receives more than 50% of the votes in the first round, a second round is held between the two candidates who secured the most votes.
