General Information:
The presidential elections in Poland were held on May 18, 2025, with a runoff scheduled for June 1, 2025. Outgoing President Andrzej Duda was not eligible for re-election due to term limits. The elections were marked by the highest number of candidates since 1995, with 13 candidates participating.

Karol Nawrocki (Independent, supported by PiS): 29.54%
Sławomir Mentzen (New Hope): 14.81%
Grzegorz Braun (Confederation of the Polish Crown): 6.34%
Szymon Hołownia (Poland 2050): 4.99%
Adrian Zandberg (Together): 4.86%
Magdalena Biejat (New Left): 4.23%
Krzysztof Stanowski (Independent): 1.24%

Electoral System:
Poland uses a two-round system to elect the President of the Republic. If no candidate receives an absolute majority (over 50%) of the votes in the first round, the two candidates with the most votes proceed to a runoff. The President is elected for a five-year term and may be re-elected for one additional term.
